FR. ROBERT PASLEY

“IMPROVING THE CATHOLIC IDENTITY OF OUR SCHOOL

“We must improve the spiritual life of our students so they learn to love Christ with their whole being. We must make Him the very center of everything we do.”

He gave simple ways to add spirituality to every school day:

  • Reminding families that weekly Mass attendance is a requirement of the Catholic faith;
  • Live the Liturgical Calendar. There is always a feast to learn about, honor, or celebrate;
  • Honor the Sanctoral Cycle by posting and discussing the Saint of the Day; and
  • Don’t hesitate to teach children Litanies, Devotions and Chants. It will become a part of their daily life that they can carry with them to adulthood.
